Show Notes: This show was performed as part of a community radio promotion for the Willoughby’s Beach EP and featured the earliest confirmed performances of Danger $$$, Black Tooth, Let It Bleed, Dead-Beat, Dustbin Fletcher, and Willoughby’s Beach. Crookedile was dedicated to The Vasco Era vocalist Sid O’Neil (and Cook Craig). Let It Bleed was introduced as “not a Rolling Stones cover or anything”. Dustbin Fletcher was introduced as being “named after our favorite Essendon veteran”, a reference to Essendon Football Club defender Dustin Fletcher. Stoned Mullet was introduced as being named after a band Stu thought was “really cool” when he was in high school.
KGLW.net Staff Notes: We note these as "first confirmed performances" of most of these songs due in part to so few King Gizzard recordings from this time period. Public recordings of King Gizz from this time period are so rare that these distinctions should in no way be confused with debuts, which may have actually been much earlier. KGLW.net staff is 100% confident in "debuts" as the first time played live...unless its Satan Speeds Up, then we just have to trust what Stu says.
