“Ghost” is a song attributed to Goodnight Owl, later renamed Love Migrate. Formed in Melbourne, the band consisted of six members including Joey and Eric, as well as Casey Hartnett (who later worked with King Gizzard throughout 2017) and Joey’s sister Bella (who sings background vocals on “Minimum Brain Size”). The song “Ghost” was never published, but King Gizzard is known to have played it live early in their career when the lines between the bands were more blurred. A composition of the same name, which was written by Stu, can be found on the ASCAP ACE Repertory, although it's unclear if this is the same tune. We do know that Goodnight Owl was playing with King Gizzard in late 2010, and that they had begun to record a new (but unreleased) album in the spring of 2011. The song may have been a collaboration between Stu and the band for the project, although this is unconfirmed.
Some have also theorized that the ASCAP track may be an early version of the b-side “The Wholly Ghost”, but the only evidence of this is Joey casually referring to the song in shorthand as ‘Ghost’ on stage on 2014-05-07; regardless, it seems unlikely that the 2010-2011 “Ghost” is related to “The Wholly Ghost.”

The only known performance of “Ghost” was on 2011-02-12 at Geelong Gaol in Geelong, for what was supposedly a late Christmas function for Forte Magazine (for which Lucas was writing at the time). Their rendition starts slow before exploding into a loud garage rock jam that ends with the band returning to the soft dynamics of the intro.
