“OCS” is an unreleased song written by Stu that was added to the ASCAP ACE Repertory alongside Gizzard’s early singles/Anglesea before the release of Float Along — Fill Your Lungs in 2013.

Its title may be a reference to the psychedelic rock band Thee Oh Sees/Osees, who’s first incarnation was simply written as OCS. The band was massively influential on King Gizzard, especially during the formative period in which this song was written. Ambrose, while reflecting on the times he saw the band, said “Stu and Gizzard saw them for the first time and it was just like, from there, just, continuously took so much influence from that to start Gizzard…” Stu said to Triple J in 2011 “I don’t think we’ve developed a sound. We’re still just fucking around in the garage. I think we’re just making loud noises and passing it off as music. Basically I just took the best songs from the best Oh Sees records and added a Bo Diddley beat.”

No performances of “OCS” are known to exist.
