In an attempt to reconnect with his forgotten humanity, Han-Tyumi decides to create the Soy-Protein Munt Machine, a cyborg made with the sole purpose of vomiting and dying. The shortest track in the Han-Tyumi suite takes its title from the machine, though it was initially conceived as “Jam In A” according to a whiteboard scribble. It’s used to lead into “Vomit Coffin” with the riff from “Han-Tyumi, the Confused Cyborg” in a different key. It was released on Murder of the Universe on June 23rd, 2017 and briefly appeared in a promotional video for the album.

The song appears in Jason Galea’s music video for “Han-Tyumi and the Murder of the Universe” released on April 11th, 2017. It follows the format of “Han-Tyumi, the Confused Cyborg” with text presented over various backgrounds.

While most of “Han-Tyumi and the Murder of the Universe” was played from 2017 to 2019, “Soy Protein Munt Machine” was the last to debut. While it may have been planned as far back as January 2020, it made its first appearance on 2022-03-05 for The Return of the Curse of Timeland festival in Naarm (Melbourne). The song appeared as part of a nearly complete performance of the suite and would solely be played in this configuration (though it did briefly appear in the first full performance of the suite on 2024-09-01).
“Soy Protein Munt Machine” is the least played track of the Han-Tyumi suite.
