“Steve Nichols” is an unreleased song written by Stu that was entered into the ASCAP ACE Repertory alongside Gizzard’s early singles/Anglesea before the release of Float Along — Fill Your Lungs in 2013. The song is presumably named after Steven Nichols, the co-founder of recording studio turned booking company and venue operator Spinning Half. Nichols and Spinning Half were heavily involved in pre-Gizzard bands such as The Houses and Almacknjack. Both had recorded at Spinning Half Studios while Nichols managed The Houses.
