Focusing on its narrator’s anxiety, “Stressin’” is a calm track appearing early in Oddments’ runtime. According to the 2018 liner notes, “Stressin’” (as well as “Work This Time”) were attempts by Joey and Stu to write “soulful music.” It was released on March 7th, 2014.

The first known performance of the song was on 2014-10-26 at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn as part of Panache CMJ Day Party & Hangover Brunch. It was played by a three piece team of Stu, Joey and Cavs, and carries the album’s laid back tone, though in a different key signature. The song made a few appearances in 2015, seemingly as a solo encore for Stu. Based on available data, “Stressin’” was played a few times in 2016, yet again as an encore, and a performance of the song can be found in the band’s documentary from that year BOOTLEG HOLIDAY FROM HELL. The entire band played the track a few times in 2018 but fully embraced it again in 2019. While it didn’t appear in 2020, the song would be reinvented for the band’s fully acoustic sets in 2021 with a few rare performances in the years following.
Stu mentioned during the band’s 2020 Reddit AMA that he likes performing the song.
