“The Mother Hen” is a simple, relaxed acoustic instrumental with guitar, bass, drums and piano. Its entry in the ASCAP ACE Repertory lists Stu as the song’s sole writer. Based on the choice of instruments, it may have been an unfinished song from the Paper Mâché Dream Balloon sessions. The song was released on Demos Vol. 4: Music To Die To on August 31st, 2023.
